How it works

An independent record of any farm field

Field Report reports come only from satellite images. Nobody visits the field, and nothing in a report comes from the grower, the buyer or a third party unless it is clearly marked as a grower note.

    Find the field

    Search a village, district or coordinates, then tap a field or draw its edges on the map.

    We read the satellite record

    Every clear image of the field since 2019 is analyzed: when the crop was sown, how well it grew, when it was harvested, and any flooding or losses.

    Get a report you can check

    The report compares each season with similar fields nearby and gives a Field Score. Its QR code opens a page that proves the report has not been changed.

Data and sources

  • Crop growth, sowing and harvest: optical images from the European Union's Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellites, about every 5 days.
  • Flooding and paddy: radar images from Copernicus Sentinel-1, which see through clouds.
  • Heat: thermal images from NASA and USGS Landsat.
  • Map background: high-resolution imagery from Esri and its partners, used only to find and draw fields. It is never part of a report's analysis.

Privacy

Reports and the verification page never name the grower or the buyer. Fields are identified by a code. A grower who claims a plot can add notes to its record; their name and phone number stay with us and are never shown to buyers.
